Thanks Carol!

The bright spot from this all is as you say an opportunity to sign other youth and give them a chance. I am trying to view this as an AHL assignment, because realistically he should be 20+ minutes per night over there, which is what we want from the developing youth

Tank for Dahlin...2018.

I'd be pretty happy to build around OJ and Dahlin.

I hope it doesn't put an end to moving a Dman Carol. The team had like thirty wins last year . It had 17 games with forty shots or more. Miller was the big reason games were close not Edler

Thanks Carol, it is a big bonus for Juolevi. Hoepfully he helps us forget Tree. Dragon is going to be pissed!

It's obvious that he hated it here. Don't see that ever changing. Bad taste and all.

Hopefully he grows up a bit, maybe the Canucks will smarten up and get someone in to be a ambassador to Russians. Like say the most talented forward to ever put on a Canucks sweater?

Didn't Dragon like Lidster and Jarvis?
Lidster ran the D, and would give Tryamkin 20 minutes one night, and 12 minutes next. One of the main reasons Tryamkin whined about to the Russian media

He just loves Tree, that's all I was trying to say. From day one Dragon has always been huge on the kid since before he got in the lineup.

The most telling thing I saw as to why Tree signed in the KHL was JB's statement. His reference to contract. Whatever other reasons or theories there are on Tree about playing time, lockeroom and what not they are fodder and secondary.

The offer from Nucks was only a 2 year extension. Think about it. If you believe he's core, like TL says, then what the frak is that?!? I'm assuming the money was not much more then his ELC and way below Hutton value.

So reason No.1 Tree signed elsewhere is $ and term. Tree sees another show me or hold me out dangling contract. Takes it as you guys don't know what you want. That's a sign. I've got options with family and developmental role. My old team will shell out more cash. Why go through another period of uncertainty with a group that left me hanging. Come back to me when you are serious.

Well hope they do. In the meantime, its pump and dump some vets. Develop maybe OJ plus this season. Don't be fooled no player plays for poopty teams if they don't see opportunity for money. There is no other reason really.

If players have choices they will make them. Why teams lock up their free agents early and long term. They should have realized that Tree was in that category of free agent.

All reports online are him saying he was mad about ice time, didn't see eye to eye with lidster, and wanted to be closer to home. Went on to say specifically that he hasn't seen or spoken to him grandparents for over a year (since his wedding). I have not seen one article, both translated from Russian or Canucks media, that has on record Tryamkin saying anything regarding contract status/term/money.

Yep, with the ensuing Edler and Tanev trades, we are going to need OJ to take the pressure off what-ever 2017 draft pick we rush into the line-up.
